Fish Fry 2022 – Cashiers Needed

Greetings and Happy New Year

Lent, and the 2022 Fish Fry seasons are quickly approaching and I wanted to reach out and ask for your help this year. Our first Fish Fry will be on Friday Feb 25th and will conclude on April 8th. The Fish Fry will be doing indoor dining and online carryout (no drive thru ordering this year). This is the Knights biggest fundraising and community building event of the year! I hope you can join us this Lenten season.

I will be coordinating the indoor cashier station and we are in need of about 4-5 volunteers for each shift. We will be setting up the cash and credit card stations using the Square app at the far end of the serving line (after people have gotten their food). The majority of the work will involve sitting at the cashier station and taking payments.

Please let me know what dates and shifts (early/late) you can help. Also, if you are not able to volunteer for the cashier station, please let me know so I can take you off of my distribution list.

The following are the Fish Fry dates

Update on our 2021 Lenten Fish Fry Plans

Update on our Lenten Fish Fry Plans:

We intend to operate our Fish Fry on each of the seven Fridays from February 12th through March 26th. Currently, it is our plan to begin our Lenten Campaign with two service points: Drive-thru pickups (in the lower parking lot) and Curbside pickups (in front of the church/school drop-off area). At this point Dine-in service is not in our plans for this season. We will be relying heavily on our on-line ordering system at www.StLFishFry.com.

We hope to provide you the many of our Cajun and regular Fish Fry fare. As you might imagine, we are still planning and dealing with the St. Louis County Health Department. Please follow our update in this column or at the www.StLFishFry.com.

Find more about the Knights of Columbus at IWKnights9981.com/bulletin or in facebook.com/IWknights9981 and NOW on Twitter at twitter.com/IwKnights.

IWKnights Fish Fry Cancellation for 2020

We will be cancelling the remaining fish fries for the year – even carry out. We had a great run for the first few fish fries and it appeared we were on our way to make a record in sales.

I wanted to personally thank you all for your hard work this year. I think the new system worked out really well. I heard nothing but positive comments from our customers and I think we will continue the approach next year.

God bless you in these trying times. We will weather through this and you are all in my prayers to stay safe over the next several weeks.
